Wedding Day !!!!

What a beautiful wedding!!! God held the rain back for the ceremony, the sun came out and the ceremony was beautiful. It was an amazing experience to walk my beautiful daughter down the aisle. The words spoken by chad (the pastor) were so appropriate - the day was amazing! Praise God for making the wedding day so wonderful! Here are some pictures!

Friday May 28

Well it's the day before the wedding. Family and friends who live a distance have begun to come into town. It's hard to believe the days just about here. Here are some pictures fro the park where the wedding will be held! The reception will be held in the building you can see pictured. The picture of Steph is where she will be standing with Travis on Saturday to exchange vows!

Wednesday May 26

Well, three more days until the "big day". Some members of the wedding party will arrive tomorrow (Thursday); others will arrive on Friday. It's hard to believe our little girl is getting married - it still has not sunk in. We are very excited; the preparations have been going well. We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday!!

Monday May 24

We had a great day working on decorations and hanging out with the in-laws-to-be. More of the same tomorrow. Not much else to report today - we are working to make sure everything is lined up for Saturday. Please pray for good weather!

Sunday May 23

We had a great day hanging out with Steph, Travis, and the in-laws-to-be. We went to Steph's church; it was very nice! We spent some time at the new apartment and some time at the park where Steph and Travis got engaged. Tomorrow we will spend time making sure plans continue to come together. It's nice to not have to drive 100's of miles in a day! I will post some pictures shortly!!

Saturday (Actually Sunday) May 23

We arrived in Georgia around 1:00 AM Georgia time Sunday morning. That being said I am going to keep this post short. We are here, we made the journey from Tucson to Georgia in two days! Now, we are all tired, but very happy that Steph and Travis were waiting at the hotel to see us!!! The other good news ... WE FINALLY GOT THROUGH TEXAS!

Friday May 21 - Arrived in Texas

Well, after 900 miles and 14 hours in the van we arrived in Weatherford, TX. We are hoping to get an early start in the morning and finish the ride to Georgia! The ride was not bad; Texas was long and boring. Other than an occasional oil derrick or wind turbine the state appears to be a flat waste land (at least along I20); New Mexico kinda has the same flair along I10. We are looking forward to seeing Steph and Travis tomorrow!

Oh this is cool, Steph spoke with and made coffee for Samuel L. Jackson today at starbucks!!
